Vision
To build an NFT project from the ground up. Documenting the learning and collaboration between two friends, @otterOlie and @elf_floating that come from a background of trading shitcoins at maximum gas and an almost definite rug potential. We choose to build this project for ourselves as a learning experience, and are inviting you along for the ride. The concept of the art is what we want it to be. It has slowly evolved from Elfin’s shill material for meme coins into where we are now.
The art is where we want it, our social media is in check, and now we are looking to populate our community with like-minded degens who want to learn but also participate.
Mindset
We rather build our project than constantly overpromise and under deliver like many other projects. Think a staking pool funded by the royalties collected from OpenSea, allowing the holders to be rewarded for their diamond hands and continued support and trust in the project.
All decisions that will change the outcome of the project will be voted on as a DAO using snapshot, once the project has completely minted out.
Developed as passion project not a profit project, we plan on sticking around long-term.
We are here for the web3 culture, appreciate the art. Naps, degen moves and token apes at 4am is the vibe, we want to do this with more people as we continue to grow our community.
The team
Founders @otterOlie and @floating_elfin have been friends for around 8 years, currently living in different hemispheres, and decided to combine our skills and previous experience to build dojoDegen. We had a few ideas for various NFT projects, but settled on the goofy, feel good dojo as we want it to be a welcoming, easy going and approachable pfp.
otter comes from a background of web3 business strategy and marketing with a passion for web3 development.
elfin comes from an architecture background, and is currently in the film industry. Along with a heavy interest in graphic design, he is also in the process of scriptwriting for various projects, the dojo drawings are an IRL release and escape for him.

The goal
Stage 1. To begin with, we plan to hit some community size targets of 1k, 5k, 10k +. We want to mint out as soon as possible, leading into the development of our cartoon series. Wearable fashion line, more than just hoodies. Our collection is limited to 4420 NFT’s, we will never extend our collection these are a limited non-fungible token not a tap that can turned on for more NFT’s. We have seen this happen time over time as the community grows, the floor price increases and the team decides to add more NFT’s to the collection. Shortly after this, the floor price drops and the community begins to cannibalize itself.
Our plans
Tap into different audiences as we bridge token oriented people into NFT’s, providing a platform with the correct information to further educate them as we endeavour to be the first NFT they mint.
This endeavour started as we made new friends in web3 (twitter spaces), reconnected with old friends and began to share our experiences along the way.
The goal is to build a platform to help others follow alongside our pathway as they build their own projects, we provide support through marketing, contract deployment, advise on minting and file storage. Let’s call it the dojo standard for now, this service will only be available to holders.
